Creamfields festival returns to Daresbury there is now just one month
The Open Golf Championship celebrating beating on this festival, Tate Liverpool’s Klimt exhibition and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall to the title of ‘Tourism Event of the Year’ at the Mersey Partnership Tourism Awards 2009, an award Creamfields CEO James Barton described as an “amazing honour”.
Event manager Jim King praised Halton Borough Council for granting the licence continue to the festival its necessary.
He added : “We are looking forward to continuing the excellent working relationships with Cheshire Police and the local authority to ensure this year’s Creamfields is a success.”
